How can you lie there and think of England when you don't even know who's in the teamBilly Bragg - Greetings to the new brunette
Life goes better with music
It's a simple truth; life goes better with music. From rifling through my many racks of CDs, to plucking a bluegrass tune out on my mandolin or busking with my guitar. Be it in helping to get a groove on, whistling in the shower or chilling out to. Music is a daily pleasure that's proven to be good for the soul.
Impossible questions for me are: "What music do you like?" and "what would your Desert Island Discs be?" as both are subject to frequent change. However here is a list of my current top 5 must-listen-to albums:
The Wonder Stuff - Eight Legged Groove Machine
20 years on and still an indie winner.

I have a passion for sport both as an active participant and avid spectator.
As a fanatical distance runner I've completed the London marathon twice (PB 03.50.31), dozens of half marathons and a couple of London triathlons.
I horse ride weekly at Ditchling Common Stud. Having come to riding later in life I'm relishing the challenge it offers. Within the last year I've started to show jump (3 foot 9 and rising) and am looking for opportunities to compete.
I'll give any sport a go and can often be found mucking about in boats, on court with a racquet in hand or gliding down a ski slope.
I also enjoy seeing how the experts do it. Over the years I've followed Scotland across Europe in two football World Cups and supported team GB in Athens at the 2004 Olympics. For me a day spent in the terraces of Twickenham, on the river bank at Henley or in the bleachers at Hickstead always proves exciting.
Colourful cultures, strange sights, epic adventures, new foods and broadening horizons make the world a wonderful place to explore.
I've trekked the Inca trail, driven from LA to NYC in a pickup truck, ridden a camel across India's Thar Desert, sailed a felucca to ancient Egypt and paddled part of the Amazon. I find it exciting there is still so much more of the globe to get around.
